It started with a modified Kodak brownie camera, with its lens substituted for a pinhole in a sheet of brass. Taking photos at sunset, while birds are active, it dawned on me they would not leave any traces on the photographs but only on an audio recording. So that's where this process of doing complentary audio-visual ecording harks back. This first Suite comes from a session done in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. The location was near an out of service train station, wher i used 7 or 8 microphones and pinhole cameras. i use the photograph as copositional tools. Breaking down the images into sections so I could use them to map out some guidelines to follow while editing the audio material. Don't waste any time, get a copy to complement your moments of inactivity.
